I was listening to this on the train earlier and Jon’s part in particular cracked me up so I figured I might as well share it with you. :)
This is probably the most hilarious and/or precious version of this song I’ve ever heard… love these two.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I don’t even like the song that much, actually, and it tends to get on my nerves as especially the first part works with the same joke the whole way through BUT I loved it here, I thought it was so charming and dead-pan.
I actually really can’t stand Kristin Chenoweth (I know - strike me down, Broadway gods), so the original version of this song does tend to irritate me. But Nancy is so adorable I can’t even stand it. And I’d actually never heard Jon’s part before, so I was cracking up! (And I smoothly answered, “hey.”)
